Back in 1992, the owners of the virtual travel agency MARAND TRAVEL Services started to operate their agency in Puerto Morelos, after living in Cancun where they ran their agency for the first 12 years.

Located at the entrance of the Riviera Maya, Puerto Morelos is Cancun’s Best Kept Secret, of the internationally famous Mexican coastline in the state of Quintana Roo. Approximately 25 minutes (18km / 11 miles) south of Cancun International Airport, Puerto Morelos once was a tiny Mayan fishing village and still maintains its charm and magic. It is the perfect contrast to hectic Cancun and Playa del Carmen which flank the village approximately 25km north and south. WEATHER on the Riviera Maya: During the fall, winter and spring there are always cooling offshore breezes along this tropical shoreline. The rainy season extends from June to the middle of November. December through May, the skies are azure blue with low humidity and temperatures ranging from 50° F at night to 90° F days. Water temperature remains constant at 76-78° F year-round. May and June are delightful months with temperatures only slightly higher than December to April. July, August and September are hot and humid.
